Minor issues that could use correction: Kiev’s district where they resided was and is called Obolon’, not Bolonia; and the boy was studying Gemora, decidedly not Gomorrah. My family lore shares a lot of geography here, at least in the first third.
I appreciate the feedback. There were a few of those details I noticed (like Gemora — or Gemara? — vs Gomorrah), where I’m not intimately familiar with the history, and so erred on the side of caution by using his own spelling.
I may add some footnotes pointing out your corrections. Thanks again!
