Approaching 1 Year of Rockwood Notes

Thank you to everyone who's supported this project so far.

There's been a lot of trial, error, and information gathering behind the scenes — but I'm getting into a rhythm.

Rockwood Notes started as a subscriber-funded deep dive into the Pritzker family — one of the greatest stories of business and wealth. As my research has grown, so has my hope for what this can be.

I'm working on building a platform to publish this work and future projects in formats beyond just a book — research, docs, websites, and apps.

Unfortunately, most people don't read books. The research I'm after is content stuffed away in boxes in a storage unit or in peoples minds. Lived experiences and stories that Gemini research mode can't fetch.

With the increasing power of AI, I want to give people a way to interact with my research on their own - not waiting / relying on what I write.

I still want to write a book. But I think that's value I can offer over time. I love research. And I think there's a lot of interesting information out there people don't have the time or ambition to find, but would love to read and interact with.

So, that's the goal.

Reminder

If you are a paid subscriber in Year 1 and stay through the end of the Pritzker project, you get everything I do after that — free, forever. Books, tools, apps. Whatever I'm working on 5 or 30 years from now.

The paid subscription is an upfront investment. I hope lifetime access to future work makes it worth it for the people who supported it early.

Twelve days until the lifetime access perk goes away.

Feel free to reach out with questions, comments or concerns.

Thanks,

Ryan
